Sandcastle Park Children’s Center and Day Care in Richmond offers full-day programs for infants, toddlers, and junior kindergarten students, incorporating Montessori and Early Childhood philosophies to provide a well-rounded and engaging education. Frequently Asked Questions

We accept children aged 6 to 36 months for our full-day programs, and junior kindergarten students aged 2.5 to 6 years old.

Our approach to learning is holistic, incorporating elements of Montessori and Reggio Emilia teaching methods, and focuses on children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Our school fees include two snacks, hot lunch, and one set of uniform per school year. If your child starts between April to August, they will not receive a new set of uniform in September. Parents are welcome to purchase additional uniform pieces if needed.

Yes, we offer extended hours to accommodate the needs of working parents. Our center is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Yes, Sandcastle Park Children’s Center and Day Care is fully licensed by the state, and our staff are trained and qualified to meet the highest standards of care and safety.

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our children, and have rigorous safety measures in place, including secure entrances, CCTV monitoring, background checks for all staff, and regular safety drills.
